We respect your privacy and keep what we collect to a minimum. This policy explains, in plain language, how Cloud Clever handles your personal information.
Who we are
Cloud Clever is a trading name of DoITflex Pty Ltd ABN 46699101221. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Cloud Clever. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
We keep this minimal. When you book a savings review or contact us, we collect the details you give us – typically your name, business email, phone number, and anything you choose to add in a request. If we go on to work with you, we may also handle the business information you share for the review (for example, licensing, usage and commercial details), which is covered by our Mutual NDA rather than this policy. We don’t collect sensitive information, and we don’t ask for it.
How we use it
We use your details only to arrange and carry out the savings review you’ve asked for – scheduling the meeting, preparing your written estimate, and staying in touch about it. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
We keep your information confidential. We only share it where it’s needed to deliver your review – for example, with a software vendor or distributor to obtain pricing or funding on your behalf – and only as permitted under our Mutual NDA, which limits any such disclosure to what’s reasonably necessary and to recipients bound by confidentiality. We use trusted service providers (such as Microsoft) to run our systems.
Website analytics
We measure how this site is used so we can improve it, and we’ve chosen a method that doesn’t identify you. Our analytics are provided by Vercel, who host the site. There are no cookies, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking of you across other websites. What’s recorded is aggregated: the page you viewed, when you viewed it, the site or search that sent you here, your general location (country, region and city), and your device, browser and operating system. Visitors are counted using a short-lived hash of the request that’s discarded after 24 hours, so we can’t recognise you on a later visit or build a profile of you. Because none of it identifies you, we don’t put a cookie notice in your way.
The booking page
Our contact page embeds Microsoft Bookings so you can pick a time without leaving the site. That scheduler is Microsoft’s, not ours – it runs under Microsoft’s privacy terms and sets its own cookies where it needs them to work. The details you enter there reach us as a booking, and we handle them as described above.
Storage and overseas handling
We store information using reputable cloud services and apply reasonable safeguards to protect it. Some providers may store data outside Australia; where that happens we take reasonable steps consistent with Australian Privacy Principle 8.
Data breaches
If something goes wrong and a breach is likely to cause serious harm, we’ll act promptly and, where the law requires, notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it when it’s no longer needed. Just email us and we’ll help.
